                   A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR AND CITY
                   FINANCE OFFICER TO EXECUTE AND ATTEST,
                   RESPECTIVELY, ALL DOCUMENTS NECESSARY TO THE
                   PURCHASE OF PROPERTY BY THE CITY OF
                   CHATTANOOGA FROM THE STATE OF TENNESSEE FOR
                   A PURCHASE PRICE OF ONE HUNDRED EIGHTY-SIX
                   THOUSAND FIVE HUNDRED AND NO/100 DOLLARS
                   ($186,500.00).
                  
                  
                                                    
                  
                  
       	    	 BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
       CHATTANOOGA, TENNESSEE, That the Mayor and City Finance Officer 
be
       and are hereby authorized to execute and attest, respectively, 
all
       documents necessary to the purchase of property by the City of
       Chattanooga from the State of Tennessee for the purchase price of 

       $186,500.00.  A copy of the Quitclaim Deed is attached hereto and 

       incorporated herein by reference.
